I have been learning, using in my practice and teaching Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for a couple of years. I believe that the theoretical and philosophical foundations of this psychotherapy are relatively strong, and psychiatry as a medical discipline can benefit from several approaches in ACT.

I am currently the president of the Contextual Medicine Special Interest Group (SIG) at the Association of Contextual Behavioral Science (ACBS).

With the aim to distribute knowledge of ACT and help people to relieve psychological suffering, I published a web page in Turkish with the address The page is currently active, but is updated rarely.

You are welcome to join the discussion if you are interested in the topics above, feel free to drop me a line or be a member of the ACBS.
